Un gang tente de prendre le contrôle du Palais de justice

Publié le 2022-06-10 | lenouvelliste.com Après avoir enlevé vendredi matin deux minibus remplis de passagers à la station de Portail Léogâne, des membres du gang de Village-de-Dieu ont attaqué le tribunal de première instance de Port-au-Prince au Bicentenaire. Grâce à l’intervention des forces de l’ordre appuyées par deux véhicules blindés de la police, les greffiers, les avocats et le personnel ont pu quitter le palais de justice. Cependant, un parquetier a été blessé par balle à la jambe, a confirmé au Nouvelliste le ministre de la Justice et de la Sécurité publique, Berto Dorcé.

Beaucoup de détonations d’armes automatiques ont été entendues dans l’après-midi du vendredi 10 juin au Bicentenaire. Les membres du gang de Village-de-Dieu ont tenté d’envahir le tribunal de première instance de Port-au-Prince. Pendant plus d’une heure, les greffiers, les avocats, des juges et le personnel qui se trouvaient dans l’espace ont été pris en otage par les bandits. Une situation de panique et de grande frayeur.

Selon le ministre de la Justice et de la Sécurité publique, les membres du gang de Village-de-Dieu ont ouvert le feu  sur le tribunal de première instance de Port-au-Prince. « A distance, ils ont tiré sur le tribunal mais n’ont pas pu entrer. Un employé du tribunal blessé à la jambe a été transporté à l’hôpital. Mais présentement, la police occupe l’espace du tribunal avec des blindés », a rapporté au journal Me Berto Dorcé vendredi soir dans une interview téléphonique accordée au journal.

Pour sa part, le président de l’Association des greffiers a dressé un tout autre tableau de la situation. « Les greffiers, les avocats entre autres ont été pris en otage. L’intervention de deux blindés de la police nationale a permis de les évacuer », a indiqué au journal Me Ainé Martin.

« Les bandits ont pillé le tribunal. Je ne sais pas s’ils vont ce soir emporter les coffres-forts qui sont encore au tribunal », a-t-il dit.
